One of our premier events is on again this year and only happens with the help of the many volunteers who turn up soon after 7:30 am to help with setting up and then again pack it all away.
So thanks to those that have already put their hand up to others who turn up early to help.
There will be cold drinks and BBQ food available from Granville Rotary and this year as well as Madison Ave Coffee for coffee, hot chocolate, tea and cakes.
There is also a tent offering MG regalia, club apparel and Club information.
For each model of MG there is a Concours class and a Show & Shine class. The Concours class is judged on presentation and originality. The Show & Shine class is judged only on presentation.
For others, general admission is from 8:00 am with all cars needing to be in position by 9:00 am and stay in position until 2:30 pm. Cars in the Concours class are encouraged to face towards the MG Marquee and the remaining cars should face the Parramatta River.
As a way of learning more about your model of car, you are encouraged to volunteer to assist the judges. Simply join the judges briefing at 8:45 am and introduce yourself to the Concours Captain.
We hope you and your families have a safe and enjoyable day.
Please do not leave your car expecting to be able to collect it later as once everything is all packed up, the park gates will be locked and you will need to contact Parramatta Council rangers and pay a fee to get your car out of the park.
