SE Queensland / Northern NSW Pre-War and Pre 1956 MG Tweed Valley Rally

This rally is open to custodians of pre-war and pre-1956 MGs to participate in their MGs. Based out of Kingscliff, NSW, it will run from the welcome meet & greet on Monday 11 May and finish with a celebration dinner on Thursday 14 May 2026.

The Rally will include runs of between 100 and 150 km on Tuesday and Thursday and a longer run of around 200km on Wednesday, when we travel up into the hinterland mountains.

A fee of $125 per person attending is required to be paid prior to registration acceptance.

Kingscliff offers the following accommodation options:

Caravan park (cabins)

• Tweed Holiday Parks Kingscliff North. This park is adjacent to the beach and approx. 2km north of Kingscliff shopping area. Book on www.tweedholidayparks.com.au and select Kingscliff North as the park. They offer a weekday special of ‘stay 4 nights for price of 3 nights’
• Tweed Holiday Parks Kingscliff Beach (adjacent to the shopping area and Kingscliff Beach Bowls Club). This park is usually full all year round and more expensive than the Kingscliff North park. A quick check shows no cabins are available for the week of the rally
• Ingenia Holidays Kingscliff (on the western side of the Motorway, in Chinderah). 18 cabins, book online on the usual websites

These caravan parks offer various size cabins, although it is best to check the bed layout before booking. They require payment upon booking, but have a reasonable 3 or 2 days prior cancellation policy.

Rally organisers are staying in cabins at the Tweed Holiday Parks, Kingscliff North.

• Mantra on Salt Beach (4 ½ star) – in Kingscliff South
